Dwelling on this planet, we are marginal in relation to our surroundings. The environments which surround us were here before us and will exist after us. We are merely visitors in this space.

Having grown up surrounded by a dense array of wildlife and rurality, I was taught to appreciate the autonomous quality of the world untouched by humans. As much as possible I strive to be in those pockets of tranquillity. My work is a reflection of how I view my external reality and how I want other people to see it.
